Scott is the senior facilities manager for BorgWarner Inc.’s plant in Dixon, Illinois. Workers at the 57-year-old plant make exhaust gas recirculation colliers, tubes and thermostats for cars and off-road commercial vehicles.

Kathi began working for SwedishAmerican as an oncology nurse in 2008. In her current role, she helps newly diagnosed breast cancer patients through their treatment journey, educating them on options and serving as much needed support.

Kelly is the director of catering sales for the new Embassy Suites by Hilton Riverfront & Rockford, which finally opened at the beginning of July. The former Amerock manufacturing plant now is a 160-room hotel featuring the area’s first convention center.
