The Mission of the Harlem Consolidated School District, as a vital part of the community, is to help diverse learners realize their unlimited potential by providing an educational program dedicated to academic excellence and the development of strong character in a safe and respectful learning environment.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Harlem School District 122.
We have wonderful schools with caring staff ready to help your child fulfill their unlimited potential. I hope that you find the registration process and your introduction to our district both stress-free and exciting. Each one of our locations, regardless of whether your student is at the elementary or secondary level, offers academic support as well as extra-curricular options. You will quickly understand why our motto is I am Harlem. You are Harlem. We are Harlem.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact the principal of your child’s school or call the Harlem Administration Center at 815-654-4500. I am confident that anyone that you speak with will be able to answer your questions and/or concerns. In the coming weeks and months, my hope is that we are able to produce a creative and productive learning environment that you can trust.
On behalf of the Board of Education and the entire staff, we look forward to an outstanding school year!
With Regards,
R. Terrell Yarbrough, Ed.D.
