Alum handles legal issues for MercyHealth in Rockford

Paige Dowdakin Najem, Alum, is a staff attorney for MercyHealth of Wisconsin and Illinois, which operates seven hospitals and 85 primary and specialty care locations in 50 cities in the two states.

At Harlem, Paige was a class officer, served on the student council and was a member of the spirit squad. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Illinois in 2010 and law degree from Illinois in 2013.

After passing her bar exam, she worked as a healthcare attorney for Hinshaw & Culbertson in Rockford and then spent three years with McGuireWoods in the Chicago area before joining MercyHealth’s legal team in February 2018.
