Students who reside within Harlem School District boundaries are eligible to attend District schools in accordance with Illinois law and Board policy. The District's registration process establishes enrollment, residency, and student records while recognizing special enrollment protections for students experiencing homelessness and students in foster care.
Families are responsible for completing registration, providing required documentation, and promptly notifying the District of changes in address, custody, or other information affecting enrollment.
Registration and residency questions should be directed to District Registration. Families experiencing homelessness or housing instability may contact the Students and Families in Transition (SAF-T) program. Foster-care enrollment questions may be directed to District Registration.
