January 2025

Based on the feedback received during public hearings, meetings, and written submissions, we have refined and modified the original recommendations. These updated options will be presented to the Board of Education for consideration at the Committee of the Whole meeting on Wednesday, January 14th, 2025.  The meeting will be moved to Harlem High School and will begin at 4:30.  This discussion will allow the Board to review the modified recommendations in greater detail and ask questions prior to determining next steps.

Following that meeting, the Board will establish a timeline for any additional public hearings, further revisions, and future board action.

December 2025

Several scenarios were explored to increase building utilization as well as address the budget deficit.  The administration then narrowed the scenarios down to four.  Of the scenarios reviewed, scenario 7 provided flexibility, strong grade level collaboration, and consisten access to specialized programs.  Scenario 7 also balanced our building utilization while addressing the budget deficit.  Below you will find an overview of each of the final four scenarios.
