David Trenholm, Class of 1995, is transitioning to civilian life after a storied career with the U.S. Navy. In February, Trenholm accepted a full-time position with Bank of America through its Global Technology & Operations Military Leadership Program.

 

He tackled his career change with the same thoroughness he showed while in the Navy, utilizing a variety of programs, including the USO Pathfinder Program, mentorship through American Corporate Partners, Onward to Opportunity, Operation New Uniform and Hire Heroes USA.

 

Trenholm, who wrestled on varsity for Harlem, spent nearly 21 years in the Navy, earning two bachelor’s degrees from Florida State University and a master’s degree from the University of Arkansas along the way.

 

While in the Navy, Trenholm served as a naval flight officer, instructor tactical coordinator in the P-3C Orion, a tactical action officer, and operations officer. He was mostly stationed in the Jacksonville, Florida, and Norfolk, Virginia areas while visiting 15 different countries. He now lives in Saint Johns, Florida.


David lives in Jacksonville with his wife, Danielle, son, Sean (18), and daughter, Kady (14).
