Harlem High School will host its 4th Annual Career-Con event on Friday, March 13th from 1:00-3:30. he goal of this event is to expose students to career opportunities in our community. The format of this event allows our students the opportunity to ask questions and to learn more about what it is like to be in each profession. Our students will sign up to attend sessions based on their career interests. Each session will be approximately 45 minutes in length and will be moderated by one of our teachers.
We Need Your Help!
We are in need of volunteers to serve as panelists who represent their profession. Panelists will be asked to talk about their credentials and the skills needed to be successful in their position. They will also be asked to share their on-the- job experiences. Panelists will not need to create a presentation and the moderator's questions will be provided ahead of time.
Register to be a Panelist at Career-Con 2020 (If you are not able to access the form, please email me)
We are excited to announce that this year we are again doing a job fair during Career-Con. Harlem has partnered with the Workforce Connection to provide our students the opportunity to interact with companies looking to fill summer, part-time and full-time positions. If you think your company or organization would be interested in being a part of this, please contact Courtney Geiger at the Workforce Connection.
If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Career-Con team.
