Harlem School Board Vacancy

December 17, 2019

The Regional Office of Education is now taking applications to fill the current Harlem School Board of Education vacancy.  In November, Melissa Wenger resigned from her position leaving a vacancy on the Board. District residents who are interested in applying should submit a letter of interest, qualities as to why they would be a candidate to consider, and their current resume with contact information to Scott Bloomquist, regional superintendent, at sbloomquist@roe4.org.  The term for this seat expires in April of 2021.

Applications are due no later than 4:00 pm on December 27th.  The top 3 candidates will be interviewed on January 6th by individuals from the Regional Office of Education.  A decision will be made by January 10th and reported to the President of the Harlem Board of Education, Larry Barger, and Superintendent Dr. Julie Morris.
