• Dear Parent/ Guardian,

                    The Elementary General Music Festival on November 3, 2018 is this Saturday and I have a few reminders. Please arrive at Machesney Elementary School by no later than 7:15 am for check in.  We will return to Machesney at approximately 5:30 pm.

    Students should wear comfortable clothes that are concert attire; no jeans please. It is suggested that boys wear dress slacks. Girls do not need to wear dresses as they will be wearing these clothes all day long and need to be able to move comfortably. Please note that if you have signed up for the dance (creative movement) workshop students may want to bring a separate change of clothing. Students who signed up for recorder workshop should bring their own recorder. If they do not have one please let me know and I can lend you one of the school’s recorders.

    Each student will need to bring a sack lunch with their name written on it as a lunch will not be provided for them on this day. The Rochelle Music Boosters Club will be selling concessions but this will not be sufficient enough to substitute for a full meal so please send your child prepared.

    Our music concert will begin at 2 pm sharp in the gym at Rochelle Middle School.  Adult tickets are $5, seniors, students, and children tickets are free.
