    RAS Strategic Plan

    Core Values of RAS Program:

    Deliver a rigorous curriculum designed to ensure that all learners meet standards utilizing non-traditional instructional strategies.

    RAS Governance:

    GOAL: Develop policies to govern RAS program (Policy Committee – January)

    TACTIC 1: Review and analyze existing ALOP and District policies. (annually in March)

    TACTIC 2: Develop a framework and review cycle for RAS policies. (annually March/April)

    TACTIC 3: Write policy in identified areas and revise student handbook. (annually March/April)

    TACTIC 4: Governing Board adopts policy and student handbook. (annually May/June)

    Curriculum/assessment/instruction:

    GOAL: PLCs will continue to include collaboration across RAS sites, core academic departments, and individual problem-solving teams. (Program Director, Site Directors and Teachers, ROE Staff)

    TACTIC 1: Monthly meetings with Site Directors to determine PLC topics. (Program Director)

    TACTIC 2: Rigorous training will be provided to Teachers, Staff, Site Directors (Program Director, Site Directors, and Teachers)

    TACTIC 3: Dedicated time will be allocated to PLCs. (Master Calendar)

    TACTIC 4: Resources will be made available. (Program Director, Site Director)

    Social Emotional Growth and Development training for students.

    GOAL: Students’ Social Emotional development will be addressed as part of RAS programming.

    TACTIC 1: Monthly meetings with Site Directors to determine strategies. (Program Director)

    TACTIC 2: Opportunities will be provided within the RAS curriculum and community for training and support. (Program Director, Site Directors, and Teachers)

    TACTIC 3: Dedicated time will be allocated to Social Emotional Growth training for staff. (Master Calendar)
