![]() Jeff Kullens CPE In the fall of 1997 I began my teaching career at Harlem High School. Prior to my return to education, I was a principle (NOT A PRINCIPAL) with Murphy-Kullens Warehouses. When the opportunity arouse to sell my interest in Murphy-Kullens Warehouses it allowed me to return to teaching and education. I haven't regretted it once. For the 2009-2010 School year I will be teaching: 1st and 8th periods Project Lead The Way - Principles of Engineering, 3rd, 5th and 6th periods Industrial Technology and 7th period RtI sophmore math. Harlem Football which is always a pleasure I will be Assistant Varsity/Sophomore Football Coach. This year I will be doing an Action Research project on Homework for Northern Illinois University. Currently I am still working on the topic for my action research. It will either be done on homework (an important entity in academics and creates a lot of parent student disagreements) or STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) Literacy. |

So what to we do in IT?
IT is comprised of a number of areas. We will investigate a number of areas: Transportation, Communication , Energy and Production. Within these areas some are computer simulation, labs and textbook work, or a combination of the the three. If you have a particular interest in a certain area we can find appropriate material to further research it. Most students who have take my course have enjoyed it. They will tell you we have homework and my expectation's are high.
