Harlem School District 122 serves the communities of Loves Park, Machesney Park, and southern Roscoe. We are a growing community ready to serve the growing needs of Harlem residents. Our school district is located in northern Illinois, ninety miles northwest of Chicago, and just north of Rockford.  The Harlem School District is a place where you can form a strong partnership with your child's educators. Through this partnership, your child has a better chance to succeed in school and in life.

GavelAt the Harlem Board of Education Regular Meeting held Monday, August, 25, 2008, Connie Cwynar, of 1120 Darwin Drive, Machesney Park, Illinois, was appointed by the Board to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Christopher Webb. Ms. Cwynar was officially sworn in at the Special Meeting on Wednesday, August 27, 2008.
